Sanjali Kumar Psychiatry does not bill insurance directly for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, or psychotherapy. After payment is received, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement depend on your individual plan and are not guaranteed. TMS is provided separately by Interventional Psychiatric Associates (IPA), which has its own insurance participation, intake, phone number, email address, and billing arrangements. See SouthShoreIPA.com for TMS information.
Frequently asked questions
Do you accept insurance?
No. Sanjali Kumar Psychiatry is a self-pay practice for psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. TMS is offered by Interventional Psychiatric Associates (IPA), a separate practice at the same office location with its own phone number, email address, insurance participation, and billing arrangements. Insurance participation for IPA TMS does not extend to services provided by Sanjali Kumar Psychiatry. Visit SouthShoreIPA.com for TMS coverage information.
How do superbills work?
Once payment is received for your visit, our office can provide a superbill through SimplePractice. You submit it to your insurer according to your plan's out-of-network claim instructions. Check with your insurer about deductibles and reimbursement.
Are telehealth visits available?
Yes. In-person appointments are available in Weymouth. Telehealth appointments are available only when the patient is physically located in Massachusetts at the time of the appointment.
Can I use an HSA or FSA?
HSA payments are accepted. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility for your specific account and expenses.
Does the practice accept Medicare or MassHealth?
