For individuals with depression who may benefit from additional treatment options, Dr. Kumar can discuss whether transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) may be appropriate. TMS evaluation and treatment are provided by Interventional Psychiatric Associates (IPA), a separate practice that shares the office location with Sanjali Kumar Psychiatry. The two practices share the physical office location but have separate services, patient intake, phone numbers, email addresses, and billing arrangements. For TMS inquiries, please use the contact information on the IPA website; the phone number and email on this website are for Sanjali Kumar Psychiatry only. IPA participates with select insurance plans for eligible TMS services; coverage and authorization depend on the individual plan. Insurance participation for TMS does not apply to psychiatric services provided by Sanjali Kumar Psychiatry. Visit SouthShoreIPA.com for TMS information and inquiries.
Dr. Kumar works with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and persistent or difficult-to-treat mood symptoms. Many have tried treatment before and are looking for a more individualized approach.
